But when it came to the bottom of the ninth with the Falmouth Commodores pushing the Hyannis Harbor Hawks to the brink of elimination, a single swing by Cameron Cannon (Arizona) willed the Commodores to a West Division semifinals sweep. Commodores take delayed playoff opener behind Stone’s top performance

HYANNIS – An 0-2 record and 3.37 ERA in the regular season did not do justice to Falmouth Commodores starting pitcher Mitchell Stone’s success. Commodores fall in regular season finale

BARNSTABLE – Fielding errors by both the Falmouth Commodores and Cotuit Kettleers brought in a pair of runs, but neither proved the difference in Thursday’s 5-4 Commodores loss. Instead, a seventh inning two-out single by Trey Jacobs (UNC-Pembroke) off Commodores reliever Brent Killam (Georgetown) proved the game-winner. Iser leads home run barrage against Brewster

FALMOUTH – Even with a playoff berth in hand, the Falmouth Commodores are not experimenting as the regular season comes to a close.
